Day of Your Scan

On the day of

• do not shave your underarms
• do not use any skin creams, lotions or deodorants

During the scan

• Imaging will be performed by a trained & certified Thermographer.
• There will be no contact with your body, no injections, no radiation and no fluids to drink. 
• The room will be cool, this is necessary for proper imaging
• You must remove clothing covering the area to be imaged; a gown will be given to wear until imaging begins.
• A camera will be positioned 4-8 feet away from you as you simply stand or sit and turn to change positions as we capture the images.
• You will have an opportunity to view the images, but NO analysis will be given at this time.

The Paper Trail

• A “Patient Questionnaire” will be completed with the Thermographer at the time of your appointment.
• Your images, along with your questionnaire will be sent electronically (seamless) to a medical physician trained and certified in Thermology, for professional medical interpretation.
• Payment is made at this time.  We accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. 
• We do NOT  bill insurance. 
• You will be provided with an invoice to submit for re-imbursement if you so desire.
